Artificial Intelligence:
Do I Need It in My Practice?

Target Audience: Social Workers

On Tuesday, April 7, 2026 we hosted a 90-minute interactive webinar about artificial intelligence and if you should use it in your practice.

We are all fully aware that artificial intelligence is here and it is not going anywhere. We encounter it in both our personal and professional lives. By understanding the basics, we can choose to enable or disable it as we see fit.

Many social workers already use artificial intelligence in their work, whether through tools implemented by their employers or within their own private practice settings.

As a private practitioner, it is essential to evaluate the need for artificial intelligence in your practice before adopting it. Like other technological tools, AI can help alleviate workload, however, professionals must be fully aware of the risks associated with its implementation.

This 90-minute recording does not provide continuing education credits. You can register to view this workshop on demand. To register, click the button below.

After the webinar, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify areas where artificial intelligence could be a valuable tool in their practice, as well as the risks associated with it.
  2. Design and implement an artificial intelligence vendor selection process that considers financial stability, HIPAA compliance, industry experience, ratings, and reliable testimonials.
  3. Establisha manual system for immediate implementation in their practice setting in case AI and other technology tools are compromised.
